A well-established engineering business based in Hook is looking to add an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to its growing production team. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience in electronics assembly who enjoys working with both electrical and mechanical components in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

The Role

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will support the build and assembly of complex products, working to drawings, work instructions and quality standards. The role is predominantly hands-on, combining electrical assembly with light mechanical build and documentation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electro-mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies
  • Soldering, crimping and cable assembly to IPC or equivalent standards
  • Assembly of mechanical parts including housings, brackets and fixtures
  • Working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and build instructions
  • Updating and maintaining build documentation and records
  • Identifying and reporting faults or build issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the assembly process
  • Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and production standards
