Electrical Design Engineer Location: Bristol Salary: Up to £55,000 Contract: Permanent We\’re supporting a well-established engineering organisation in Bristol that is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen their design capability and support continuous improvement across their engineering processes. The Role As an Electrical Design Engineer, you\’ll ensure all electrical designs and drawings meet professional best practice while helping the business improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain regulatory compliance. You\’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and have real influence over the quality and integrity of engineering outputs. Key Responsibilities Engineering drawing & design best practice Produce and review electrical drawings and documentation to professional standards Maintain clarity, accuracy and consistency across all design materials Continuous improvement Identify inefficiencies in systems, processes and workflows Recommend and support initiatives to minimise waste and improve overall effectiveness Compliance & standards Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical regulations and industry standards Support the business in maintaining robust standards across design activities What we\’re looking for Strong knowledge of professional electrical drawing/design best practice Ability to spot process improvements and reduce inefficiencies Solid understanding of regulatory and standards compliance requirements Detail-driven, methodical and quality-focused Confident communicator with good problem-solving ability Why apply?
