Staff System Validation Engineer Location: Fareham, Hampshire (Hybrid Working) Salary: Up to £75,000 Are you an experienced electronics or systems engineer looking for a senior technical role within an innovative, high-growth technology business? I'm working with an exciting semiconductor company based in Fareham that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with a Staff System Validation Engineer. This is a senior position offering the opportunity to take technical ownership across multiple teams, working on the integration, validation and development of advanced touch technologies used in consumer electronics. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are successfully integrated into customer devices, providing technical support to global customers and helping shape future product development. The Role Lead the integration of products into customer devices, ensuring successful technical implementation. Provide technical support to customers remotely and onsite, including international travel. Act as a key technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams. Support regional application teams with technical guidance and product knowledge. Participate in product development, testing and validation activities. Design and develop hardware tooling to meet internal and external customer requirements. Gather customer feedback and influence future product development. Coordinate project tasks, planning and technical deliverables. Produce technical documentation and provide project status updates. Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and mentor engineers to support their development. What We're Looking For A degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar relevant discipline. Strong understanding of fundamental electrical and electronic principles. Experience with Python scripting. Experience in electronic circuit design and prototype development. Previous experience in a customer-facing technical engineering role, ideally working with international customers. An understanding of software development. Experience with capacitive touch technology would be a significant advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different engineering teams. Comfortable taking technical ownership, working autonomously and providing guidance to others. Willingness to travel internationally when required. What's on Offer? Salary up to £75,000.
