Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer


Location: Southampton, Hampshire (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)


Salary: Up to £65,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities



  • Drive embedded software development for a new product line currently in design

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

  • Design, develop, and debug embedded software for real-time applications


You’ll Need:



  • Proven experience in full lifecycle embedded software development

  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++

  • Experience with bare metal programming

  • Knowledge of RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems)

  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) is advantageous

  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and debug firmware against hardware schematics
