My client is a global technology company designing complex electronic products and systems that are used all over the world.
They currently require a Software Architect to join their expanding R&D team. You will work on exciting, often global, projects focusing on the next generation of products and systems which will harness things like AI technologies.
As Software Architect you will get involved in software projects from low-level embedded to enterprise-level Cloud-based solutions.
The team has adopted hybrid working, they don’t have a fixed regime for this but naturally, there will be times you’ll need to be in the office but broadly if you don’t need to be in the office you don’t have to be.
Experience & Skills required for the Software Architect, will include:
- Able to work on design projects from concept to manufacture.
- Must have a background in the electronic OEM sector with knowledge of enterprise level Cloud based solutions.
- Strong background in C / C++ embedded programming.
- Excellent knowledge of OOD/Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience with C#, Java, .NET Framework.
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
Multithreading, Linux, device driver development, Industrial network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet etc), DSP.
