An established technology company is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced digital, analogue, and RF hardware products.
This is a senior technical role with significant influence, shaping product architecture, driving hardware innovation, and ensuring robust design execution from concept through to production. You’ll work closely with Product Management to define specifications, guide design direction, and ensure products meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements.
You’ll take ownership of hardware development, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement across tools, processes, and design methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of digital, analogue, and RF hardware.
• Produce detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Select components, run simulations, and perform detailed analysis to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production-ready hardware.
• Conduct hardware debugging and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, spectrum analysers, and other advanced test equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and product teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
About You
• Extensive experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Strong proficiency with Altium Designer for schematics and PCB layout.
• Skilled in component selection, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Proven experience developing and executing hardware test plans.
• Confident in hardware debugging and validation using industry-standard test equipment.
