Test Technician Letchworth, Hertfordshire Up to £35,000 + Benefits A growing engineering business based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire is looking for a Test Technician to join its production team. The company designs and manufactures rugged, reliable power systems used in demanding environments across sectors including aerospace, defence and marine. With a strong order book and continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small but expanding engineering team. The role would suit someone with experience in electronics, testing, production or assembly, or someone with a strong interest in developing a career within electronics. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to gain additional qualifications and progress within the business. The Role Working closely with the Production and Engineering teams, you will help test and deliver electronic power products to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: PCB-level and system-level testing Testing DC-DC and AC-DC power products Testing UPS and battery management systems Calibration of company test equipment Supporting design verification testing Following work instructions and test procedures Supporting continuous improvement projects Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety What We're Looking For You don't need to have extensive experience, as full training will be provided. We're particularly interested in people who are practical, reliable and keen to learn. Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: Electronic assembly Soldering Surface-mount technology Cable and wiring assembly Mechanical assembly Electronics testing Calibration or test equipment What's On Offer?
