Our client, an innovative technology business in Bedford, is looking for a Lead Electronic Design Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of electronic design, from concept through to production.
- Oversee firmware development, ensuring integration and functionality align with business goals.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to define roadmaps and technical direction.
- In the longer term, recruit and lead a team of engineers, heading up electronic and firmware development.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education in Electronics Hardware Engineering (or equivalent senior-level experience).
- Strong background in mixed signal circuit design.
- Expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, and design using Altium.
- Solid understanding of EMC design principles and designing to meet industry regulations.
- Experience working with firmware development, with the ability to guide and oversee integration.
- The ability to balance leadership with being technically hands-on.
