Are you an experienced Quality professional looking to take ownership of QA systems within a growing, technology-driven engineering environment? This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop quality processes across a business working on advanced hardware, software, and firmware products, with increasing focus on high-reliability and regulated markets.
The Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll take responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards while supporting engineering and product development teams. You’ll act as the key point of contact for all QA-related activities, both internally and externally, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards are met across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and support progression toward additional standards
- Act as the main QA contact for customers across pre-sales, production, and failure analysis
- Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues and non-conformities
- Plan and manage internal and external audit activities
- Monitor performance through audits, reviews, and customer feedback
- Produce and maintain quality documentation, reports, and procedures
- Support the development and continuous improvement of business processes
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded across the product lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar
- Strong experience with ISO9001 and quality management systems
- Proven background in implementing and developing QMS/BMS systems
- Experience leading internal and external audits
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report data
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Structured, methodical, and detail-oriented approach
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of automotive or high-reliability quality standards
- Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks
- Experience within engineering or product development environments
- Familiarity with product compliance and regulatory requirements
