We’re working with a growing engineering business developing advanced electronic systems, and they’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, helping prototype and low-volume products move smoothly into production. This role would suit someone with strong electronics manufacturing experience who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving practical production challenges.

The Opportunity

  • You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to support new product introduction (NPI), improve manufacturability, and help establish robust production processes for complex electronic products.
  • The position offers genuine scope to grow into a more dedicated NPI leadership role over time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the transition of products from prototype into production
  • Working with design and manufacturing teams to improve manufacturability and build quality
  • Developing production processes, build documentation, and work instructions
  • Identifying and solving production and process issues
  • Driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and assembly
  • Helping scale low-volume products into repeatable production builds
  • Supporting ongoing product and process optimisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, or NPI Engineer
  • Background in electronics manufacturing, assembly, or electromechanical products
  • Experience supporting prototype, low-volume, or new product introduction environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
  • Comfortable working in evolving, development-focused environments

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

  • Exposure to high-power electronics
  • RF or communications technology experience
  • Experience supporting products through scale-up into production
