Electronic Design Engineer wanted!

Verso is retained to recruit an Electronic Design Engineer for a rapidly growing company within the automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is at the forefront of developing innovative electronic test systems for use across a range of automotive applications.

Based at a modern, purpose-built facility in Heanor, Derbyshire, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing bespoke electronic hardware that supports the testing and remanufacture of automotive control systems. The working culture is collaborative and supportive, with close interaction across engineering, production, quality, and other internal teams.

The successful Electronic Design Engineer will have experience with:

  • Electronic hardware design for embedded or automotive applications
  • Schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout e.g. Altium Designer
  • Solid understanding of microcontrollers, signal conditioning and interface protocols
  • Practical experience in prototyping, soldering, debugging, and hardware validation
  • Reading automotive wiring diagrams and technical specifications
  • Developing hardware for integration into Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and automated test environments
