What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and developing electronic solutions, from architecture through to detailed design.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Considering design for manufacture and test to ensure smooth production handover.
- Integrating and testing systems, including hands-on fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Working with external test houses to achieve CE / UKCA and MoD compliance.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation (schematics, BOMs, change notes).
- Providing occasional offsite support for installation and maintenance activities.
What you’ll need:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (essential).
- Broad experience across analogue and digital circuit design, ideally including:
- Low-noise power supply and distribution circuitry
- Analogue signal conditioning
- Data acquisition systems
- Digital interfacing and FPGA-based control
- Understanding of design for EMC compliance.
