Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Plan and lead large-scale, complex testing activities, manage risks, and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
- Technical Ownership: Build, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks using open-source technologies.
- Process Improvement: Investigate existing processes to identify gaps and implement improvements.
- Test Design & Execution: Design and execute functional, performance, and automated testing across systems, including data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear test results and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance test environments and processes to support ongoing quality.
- Test Automation: Implement and maintain automation using Virtuoso and other relevant tools.
- Test Management: Plan, execute, and report testing activities in line with the Test strategy.
- Defect Management: Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution and reporting.
- Database/ETL Testing: Ensure data accuracy and reliability through thorough database and ETL testing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading testing teams and strategic testing initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Experience with Virtuoso for test automation or a similar tool.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test environment management.
- Excellent problem-solving, independent and collaborative working, and communication skills.
- Leadership ability to influence and mentor others; experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Experience with AI tooling; expertise in database and ETL testing.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools; SC eligibility preferred.
