Job Description

As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will craft accessible, responsive user interfaces for clients using tools like Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, Marvel, and GOV.UK prototyping toolkit. You will collaborate with users and stakeholders to optimize product and service designs, considering both user journeys and individual elements. You will join a community dedicated to sharing best practices and mentoring within the User Centred Design Practice.

Experience with GDS service standards, GOV.UK design system, and assessment processes is essential as you will work on a UK public sector client. The role is a 6-month contract, with a start in early September.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of design thinking and evidence-based design approaches.
  • Proficiency in creating and iterating prototypes with appropriate fidelity and tools.
  • Knowledge of accessible/inclusive design principles and standards.
  • Ability to conduct basic user research and collaborate with user researchers.
