Overview Version 1's Digital Skills Academy provides training on the latest technologies to enable Early Careers Associates to deliver high-quality services. The program partners with leading providers to create bespoke academies that help associates develop IT skill sets and earn industry-recognized certifications. The Early Careers framework helps you build a network across the business while advancing your career in technology.Our goal is to make a career in technology accessible to everyone. The Academy is open to college/university graduates, career changers, returners to the workforce, and individuals with technical skills who want to experience a culture of recognition and reward.What You Will Do (Responsibilities) Register interest in future academies across all Version 1 locations. This is not a live vacancy; you will be contacted when an academy becomes available in your home location. Please include your home location when applying to help direct your application.Participate in a bespoke 12-week hybrid training academy with support from the Early Careers Team and accredited providers; complete professional industry-recognised certifications and accreditations.Learn across a range of technologies and organisational concepts during the first 8 weeks, with mentorship from Version 1 Mentors and Senior Technologists, and develop presentation and customer-facing skills during the Design Thinking week.Receive dedicated training in Business Analysis & Project Management; participate in interactive events to understand Version 1's culture and values; pursue certifications across our Partner Network (UK & Ireland's premier Microsoft, AWS, and Oracle partners, among others).In the final 4 weeks, specialise in a specific technology (e.g., Java, .NET, DevOps, AWS Cloud).Upon graduation, you may receive an exclusive offer of permanent employment and work on real-world projects with our customer base as a Version 1 difference maker.First 12 weeks are a paid training contract; upon successful completion, a final interview with the opportunity for a permanent contract as an Associate Consultant.Over the first 18 months, you may be eligible for salary uplifts based on performance: 6 months – 5%, 12 months – 5%, 18 months – 10%.Qualifications Have a university degree with a classification of 2:2 in any ICT or STEM subject.Love problem-solving and are persistent.Are passionate about technology and eligible to work in the UK/Ireland.Eligibility and willingness to travel across EU/UK offices to meet with stakeholders and customers (travel costs covered by Version 1).Prior IT work experience or participation in a Tech Bootcamp/course is a plus.Additional Information Version 1 is an equal opportunities employer.
