As a consultancy and service provider, Version 1 is a digital-first environment. We are currently in the market for an experienced Oracle SCM Cloud Functional Support Consultant to join our growing Managed Services Practice. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest cloud technology and work on projects across a multiplicity of sectors and industries.
ResponsibilitiesYou will:
- Provide day to day application support for a variety of clients.
- Understand SCM business processes and requirements and translate these into system solutions, resolving any business issues.
- Resolve support issues and add value through delivering fixes and ongoing ways of improving current delivered functionality for the Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
- Gather and document requirements for business changes.
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion.
- Assist with transitioning clients into support post Cloud implementation projects and from competitors.
- Identify persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes.
- Provide end user application and functionality training.
- Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases from Impact Assessment through testing and defect support.
- Create test plans and coordinate testing with different stakeholders.
- Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building.
- Help ensure that MS ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes.
- Assist with risk management and change management on projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an application support analyst or similar role.
- Experience in Oracle implementations and/or upgrades.
- Experience of the following modules within SCM: Self Service Procurement (Essential), Purchasing (Essential), Sourcing (Essential), Order Management (Desirable), WMS (Desirable), Inventory (Desirable).
- Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into functional solutions.
- ITIL process knowledge.
- Experienced user of defect tracking systems, including the extraction of key data for weekly reporting and KPI tracking.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in configuring and supporting Smart View reports.
- Experience working with other Oracle modules such as Financials, EPM and Projects.
- Functional and Technical problem investigation skills.
- An Oracle Cloud Procurement Certification.
