This contract is for serious Oracle OIC specialists who want to stay hands‑on, solve complex integration problems, and be trusted to own the technical outcome. You’ll be joining a high‑profile Oracle Cloud programme where integration quality actually matters. No box‑ticking. No endless governance. You’ll design, build, and deliver real OIC solutions across Oracle SaaS, PaaS, OCI, and on‑premise systems, working directly with stakeholders who value technical expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and delivering Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions, including integrations, extensions, and custom components.
- Playing a key role in Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud integration initiatives.
- Providing senior‑level technical expertise across Oracle PaaS services, including OIC, VBCS, ATP, and OCI.
- Designing and delivering standard and ad‑hoc reporting solutions to support operational and analytical needs.
- Applying Oracle SaaS/PaaS extension patterns and best practices across all development work.
- Ensuring security, data protection, and compliance across Oracle Cloud integrations.
- Leveraging functional understanding of Finance, Procurement, HCM, and SCM to design effective integration solutions.
- Integrating third‑party and on‑premise systems with Oracle Cloud platforms.
- Delivering change on time while managing expectations and maintaining high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
- Performing hands‑on analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support using structured delivery methodologies (AIMS / OUM).
- Working directly with clients to scope, prioritise, and deliver change requests end‑to‑end.
- Supporting the transition of clients into BAU support following cloud implementations or platform migrations.
- Identifying recurring technical issues and driving root‑cause resolution.
Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Extensive hands‑on experience delivering Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience developing Oracle SaaS extensions using VBCS.
- Proven delivery experience integrating Oracle Cloud ERP and/or HCM, SaaS‑to‑SaaS, and SaaS‑to‑PaaS solutions.
- Strong hands‑on experience with multiple OIC adapters, including File Server, Database, Oracle ERP Cloud, and FTP.
- Experience integrating SaaS, PaaS, APIs, and on‑premise applications.
- Hands‑on experience configuring the OIC Connectivity Agent.
- Experience building and uploading FBDI files into Oracle ERP/HCM Cloud.
- Strong understanding of fault handling frameworks and web service error management.
- Solid experience with SQL / PL‑SQL, ATP, Oracle DBCS, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience delivering reporting solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud, using Oracle BI and OTBI.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable Skills
- Hands‑on experience with Smart View and FRS reporting.
- Exposure to BPM Workflows, Application Composer, OBIEE / OBIA / OAC / FDI.
- Oracle Cloud Technical Certifications.
