Overview
Join our Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll team as a Functional Support Consultant within Version 1’s Managed Services. You will help UK-based organisations optimise and support their HCM Cloud Payroll environments, acting as a trusted advisor on best practices, process improvements, and payroll compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day functional and application support for multiple clients.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and optimise Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions.
- Deliver clear documentation and share knowledge across the team.
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to colleagues.
- Assist with pre-sales activities including product demos.
- Advise clients on best practice Cloud processes, configuration options, and roadmaps.
- Work effectively with end-users remotely, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Oracle HCM Cloud expertise, with a strong focus on Payroll.
- Solid understanding of UK payroll and absence legislation.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional design solutions.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to document solutions clearly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- SC clearance eligibility – minimum 3 years’ UK residency required.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Absence, Time & Labour, or Compensation modules.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS/Payroll.
- ITIL process knowledge.
- Broader HR process understanding.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications, especially in Payroll.
