You will help define and deliver a series of diverse key projects with the team. The role presents a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who is enthusiastic about closer connection with our customer’s core business.
Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and system specifications. Work with development teams to design technical solutions that meet business needs. Produce analysis, data mapping and data analytical tasks using SQL, Excel and Power BI. Produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents. Stakeholder management across all levels from c-suite through to on-the-ground developers both internally and with the clients. Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and validating solutions using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira and test management tools. End-to-end project involvement from leading workshops through to design and delivery phases.
Qualifications
- Business Analysis experience within a consultancy or public sector environment.
- Proven track record in producing high‑quality Business Requirements Documents, business process mapping and documentation skills.
- Agile delivery experience and has worked within an agile delivery team.
- Digital or application modernisation project experience.
- Experience reviewing functional specification documents produced by peers to ensure they align with business requirements specification documents.
- Has worked on both large‑scale and smaller projects and has been responsible for defining and designing business solutions.
- Discovery, technical and data capability with strong SQL background.
- Confident, articulate and proactive consultant.
- Good project management skills with the ability to plan, schedule own work and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – be able to explain complicated processes and concepts to non‑experts.
