Overview

Step into a senior leadership position at Version1, a globally recognised Oracle & AWS partner with over 700 Oracle specialists. You’ll lead major cloud financials transformations for clients within the UK, including critical government projects requiring SC clearance.

Your Role: More Than Just Implementation

  • Lead from Day One: take ownership of Oracle Cloud Financials modules—GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Procurement, Assets, Tax—designing and configuring systems end-to-end.
  • Anchor Proof-of-Concepts: design and validate POCs that showcase system power and drive business value.
  • Map & Transform Processes: conduct gap analysis, process redesign, data integration, migration strategy, and test lifecycle planning.
  • Train, Support & Empower: design training materials, host workshops, guide end-users, and transfer knowledge effectively.
  • Be the Functional Bridge: drive requirements gathering, produce functional specs, manage change requests, and maintain Oracle’s quarterly release cadence.

Responsibilities

  • Leading business change and implementing primary Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Configuring Oracle Cloud Instance for Client Proof of Concept.
  • Demonstrating Oracle Cloud functionality.
  • Overseeing requirements definition, design and gap analysis.
  • Process mapping/redesign.
  • Overseeing training preparation and delivery.
  • Leading application configuration.
  • Driving forward functional support of data migration and integration.
  • Leading solution validation workshops and overseeing testing, training delivery, and post go-live support.

Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud (SaaS): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement (including Self Service), Assets and Expenses.
  • Oracle Cloud Reporting: OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, SmartView.
  • SC-capable/eligible for security clearance; experience in sensitive/regulatory environments is valued.
  • Customer-facing experience with governance of requirements, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge transfer, testing lifecycle management, and go-live support.
  • Experience with Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodology recommended; ability to document high-quality functional specifications for integrations.
