What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and optimise PeopleSoft environments: Maintain and support application and server infrastructure, proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure high availability.
- Drive upgrades and continuous improvement: Lead PUM upgrades and quarterly patching, ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and future‑ready.
- Enable seamless releases: Collaborate closely with development and functional teams to migrate approved code into production efficiently and safely.
- Ensure environment readiness: Plan and manage system availability, support environment refreshes, and execute post‑refresh activities for non‑production systems.
- Monitor and enhance performance: Oversee production batch schedules, identify bottlenecks, and resolve performance issues across PeopleSoft processes and reports.
- Deliver strong database administration: Manage Oracle database installations, patching, backup & recovery, cloning, and performance tuning across environments.
- Strengthen resilience & continuity: Design and implement robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies to protect business‑critical systems.
- Provide expert DBA consultancy: Offer technical expertise across Oracle and SQL Server environments, supporting broader infrastructure initiatives.
- Communicate with clarity and impact: Provide structured updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across technical and business teams.

Qualifications
- 5–7 years’ experience in PeopleSoft Administration / Infrastructure roles.
- Strong track record of owning issues end‑to‑end and delivering timely resolutions.

- Experience with cloud‑based infrastructure / server environments is highly desirable.
Core Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in Application Administration and PeopleTools.
- Hands‑on expertise across PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), including:
- App Servers
- Process Schedulers
- WebLogic Servers (Linux & Windows)
- Advanced knowledge of PeopleTools 8.54+ and Integration Broker.
- Proven experience working with PeopleSoft 9.x (or above) environments.
- Strong database administration skills across:
- Oracle Database
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, infrastructure, and administration best practices.
- Expertise across all core technical areas of PeopleSoft Administration.
Experience & Capability
- 5–7 years’ experience in PeopleSoft Administration / Infrastructure roles.
- Strong track record of owning issues end‑to‑end and delivering timely resolutions.
- Comfortable working in high‑pressure, production‑critical environments.
- Experience with cloud‑based infrastructure / server environments is highly desirable.
