Version 1 is looking to expand in Delivery Management and seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to drive critical digital transformation delivery for a key public sector customer.
Responsibilities:- Actively establishing, building and maturing relationships with new customers.
- Delivering effectivity and creating new opportunities.
- Drive Agile or Hybrid projects forward on time, to budget and best quality.
- Stakeholder engagement and management.
- Championing and improving client ways of working.
- Standard Delivery Manager duties including project scope, financial management, detailed project work-plan, RAID analysis, governance, documentation and risk management.
- Applying critical thinking under pressure.
You’ll apply your agile expertise to lead delivery in one or two workstreams, adapting your agile approach to suit the team and client needs. You’ll focus on successful execution of projects, applying a delivery mindset to continuous planning and management of project problems and risks; ensuring the team is on track for success and working to mitigate potential issues and risks before they impact delivery. You’ll be a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of their needs and desired outcomes, translating asks into feasible delivery plans. You’ll focus on optimising team culture, performance, and health, supporting individuals and teams to operate at their peak and finding innovative ways to improve ways-of-working.
Qualifications:- Security Clearance eligible.
- Consulting Mindset or Experience in consulting.
- Demonstrable experience in continually successfully managing and leading project teams.
- Technical delivery project management experience and the ability to manage projects no matter what the technology involved.
- Experience in delivering Software Development, Data or Cloud Migration projects.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience of delivering Agile projects.
- Software Delivery Life Cycle experience (SDLC).
- Agile expertise.
