Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Embed a product‑centric, agile delivery culture, enabling our teams to deliver products that drive forward our mission.
- Facilitate communication, coordination, and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Design and embed Agile delivery.
- Maintain a focus on learning and continuous improvement.
- Create an inclusive and effective team delivering innovative, high‑value products.
- Optimise team culture, performance, and health, supporting individuals and teams to operate at their peak and finding innovative ways to improve ways‑of‑working.
- Establish and mature delivery management processes, including roadmap and release coordination.
- Manage resource planning and allocation, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Support product and technology leads in managing demand and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and cross‑team collaboration.
- Drive Agile or Hybrid projects forward on time, to budget and best quality.
- Stakeholder engagement and management.
- Weekly overview and delivery assurance meeting.
- Standard Delivery Manager duties including project scope, detailed project work‑plan, RAID analysis, governance, documentation and risk management.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in technology, business, humanities, or engineering.
- Demonstrable experience in Agile Delivery or Programme Management (preferred).
- Broad experience in agile frameworks and methods applied across multiple stages of the project lifecycle in service or software delivery.
- Ability to adapt these pragmatically and innovatively to meet the needs of a team and client.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and lean methodologies and tools such as Jira and Trello.
- Strong relationship building and mediation skills.
- Adjust delivery management approach, including agile techniques and leadership, to suit different client contexts and team needs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, team enablement and coaching skills.
- Leadership: role‑model positive and supportive servant‑leadership behaviours.
- Ability to adjust leadership approach to meet the needs of a diverse team and create the right motivating environment.
- Champion ways‑of‑working and positive team culture.
- Experience working with globally dispersed teams.
- Excellent communication: strong listening, verbal and written skills, proven ability to build relationships and facilitate effectively, ask the right questions to keep meetings focused, and communicate sensitive messages and navigate difficult conversations steering toward positive outcomes.
- Commercial mindset and ability to drive culture change.
- Experience with Pre‑Sales, including contributions to proposals to win new business.
- Experience leading Agile delivery in product‑centric teams through discovery, alpha and beta phases, embedding continuous delivery, iteration and user‑focused improvement.
- Experience delivering Software Development, Data or Cloud Migration projects.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure the project roadmap delivers what is needed in the desired timeframe.
- Assess feasibility of delivery and identify risks and dependencies which may impact success, taking appropriate action before they become issues.
- Practice planning collaboratively and keep agile, adjusting it as new learning comes to light.
- Coordinate a multi‑disciplinary team to keep them focused on delivery, ensuring each team member’s contribution feeds into priorities and the critical path.
