Here at Version 1, we are currently recruiting for a ServiceNow Developer to join our thriving managed service practice. We are seeking a creative and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow Developer.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
  • Write and maintain scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript) for various ServiceNow components such as business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
  • Develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and ServiceNow applications in line with the needs of the business.
  • Secure applications and data against access by unauthorized users and applications, employing best practices.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Provide guidance to users on the usage of ServiceNow in line with its design.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize ServiceNow instances.
  • Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure efficient and effective use of the platform.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications that support Domain Separation.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide data insights and monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience.
  • Proven track record of improving processes and effectiveness through automation.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and the ITIL framework.
  • Certified System Administrator.
  • Certified Application Developer.
  • Certified Application Specialist (Performance Analytics).
  • Implementation Specialist (Customer Service Management).
  • Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping).
  • Implementation Specialist (Discovery).
  • Implementation Specialist (IT Service Management).
