Here at Version 1, we are currently recruiting for a ServiceNow Developer to join our thriving managed service practice. We are seeking a creative and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow Developer.
What You Will Do
- Ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
- Write and maintain scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript) for various ServiceNow components such as business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
- Develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and ServiceNow applications in line with the needs of the business.
- Secure applications and data against access by unauthorized users and applications, employing best practices.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Provide guidance to users on the usage of ServiceNow in line with its design.
- Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize ServiceNow instances.
- Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure efficient and effective use of the platform.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications that support Domain Separation.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide data insights and monitoring capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience.
- Proven track record of improving processes and effectiveness through automation.
- Strong understanding of IT service management and the ITIL framework.
- Certified System Administrator.
- Certified Application Developer.
- Certified Application Specialist (Performance Analytics).
- Implementation Specialist (Customer Service Management).
