Version 1 is looking for an exceptional PeopleSoft Administrator to join our Enterprise Applications practice — supporting secure, high-profile environments where performance, resilience and precision truly matter. This is not a routine support role. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex PeopleSoft landscapes and play a key role in their continuous optimisation, modernisation and stability.
If you are technically strong, proactive, and confident operating in secure environments — this is where your expertise will be valued and amplified.
You’ll be trusted with environments that underpin critical operations. Your work will directly influence performance, uptime and security across enterprise-scale platforms.
You will:
- Lead PUM upgrade cycles and PeopleTools patching
- Drive Oracle & SQL Server DBA operations (refresh, cloning, performance tuning, monitoring)
- Own environment stability across PIA, App Servers, Process Schedulers & WebLogic (Linux & Windows)
- Oversee quarterly patching and mid-tier upgrades
- Implement and enhance backup, restore & disaster recovery strategies
- Monitor production scheduling and proactively resolve performance issues
- Contribute to cloud-enabled infrastructure environments
You won’t just maintain systems — you’ll strengthen and future-proof them.
We’re looking for a true PeopleSoft infrastructure specialist:
You will have:
- Deep hands-on experience in PeopleSoft 9.x+ architecture
- Strong PeopleTools (v8.54+) and Integration Broker expertise
- Advanced administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA)
- Experience managing upgrades, patching, cloning, performance tuning
- Comfortable working across Linux and Windows environments
- Clear, confident communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (or already cleared)
You take ownership. You solve problems before they escalate. You operate with precision.
Why Version 1?
- Be part of a global Oracle practice of 700+ specialists
- Work on large-scale, enterprise Oracle Cloud programmes
- Join an award-winning consultancy recognised for innovation and delivery excellence
- Clear career progression, strong leadership support, and genuine investment in your growth
- A culture that values expertise, autonomy, and doing things properly
- Strong career progression & mentorship through our Strength in Balance and leadership programmes, including quarterly Pathways Career Development reviews.

- Version 1 Annual Excellence Awards & Call-Out recognition platform celebrating achievement.
- Moments that matter & enhanced maternity/paternity leave policies to support your journey.
- Active ESG & CSR initiatives, allowing you to give back through fundraising, volunteering, and diversity, inclusion & belonging programmes.
Benefits include:
- Quarterly performance-related profit share
- Hybrid / Remote working flexibility
- Pension, private healthcare, life assurance cover
- Certified Great Place to Work for 10+ years running
This is hybrid based with occasional travel to your nearest base office.
