The Role
In this customerâfacing role, youâll combine handsâon functional consulting within Manufacturing and Distribution domains with team leadership responsibilities. Youâll manage a group of JDE consultants and analysts, ensuring the effective delivery of highâquality managed services, while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Youâll be key to ensuring that incidents, service requests, and change initiatives are delivered on time, within SLA, and to the highest standard.
What Youâll Do
- Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of JDE modules including Manufacturing (Shop Floor Control, Work Orders, Product Costing) and Distribution (Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend process improvements.
- Support full solution delivery â testing, training, and deployment.
- Manage and mentor a team of JDE support consultants and analysts.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews, allocate resources, and support professional growth.
- Ensure timely case resolution and accurate client invoicing through effective oversight.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, highâperformance team culture.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management through our ServiceNowâbased system, Engage.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and continuous service improvement.
- Act as an escalation point for complex functional issues.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and regular service reviews.
- Collaborate closely with Service Delivery Managers, Account Managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Present functional designs, updates, and performance insights to senior leadership and clients.
What Youâll Bring
- Extensive handsâon experience with JD Edwards ERP (Manufacturing & Distribution focus).
- Background in a people management or team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes.
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and working knowledge of ITIL principles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problemâsolving skills.
- Organised, analytical, and processâoriented with a passion for service improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- JDE certification in relevant modules.
- Experience with ERP upgrades or migrations.
- Familiarity with integrations between JDE and other enterprise systems.
