Overview
As AI Technical Lead, you will design, develop and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions, from PoCs to production, for large organisations. You’ll lead technical direction across the delivery lifecycle and mentor delivery teams. You will work with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into scalable AI applications while ensuring security, governance, and lifecycle practices. This role offers impact at scale, shaping how clients harness AI responsibly within a trusted technology partner.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of secure, scalable AI solutions on approved platforms.
- Build and integrate LLM, RAG, and multi-agent systems using Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar.
- Develop AI-powered applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Guide PoC and pilot projects from feasibility to production transition.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
- Work with architects, data engineers, product owners, and QA to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and guidance to delivery teams.
- Assess feasibility, data readiness, and constraints when defining AI solutions.
- Apply engineering best practices for AI deployment, monitoring, security, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with architecture, security, DevSecOps, Responsible AI, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across teams.
Key requirements
- 8+ years in the application development lifecycle.
- Experience leading development teams and providing technical leadership.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications and services.
- Backend development experience for AI apps and orchestration of LLMs/multi-agent systems.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar AI platforms.
- Experience in prompt engineering and working with multiple AI models.
- Proven ability to scale PoCs into production solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI development frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
