Job Description

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data from Microsoft 365 tools and translate it into actionable recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and security.
  • Effectively communicating, proposing and driving implementation of the same.
  • Beneficial to have experience implementing Microsoft Purview solutions, including data classification and DLP, with a strong understanding of their implementation to ensure robust information protection and compliance.
  • Experience in discovering, classifying and protecting sensitive data within Microsoft 365 environments, leveraging Purview's automated and custom classification capabilities to support effective implementation.
  • Microsoft M365, Endpoint or Security Administrator/Expert certifications would be considered beneficial.
  • Experience delivering relevant projects in regulated industries similar to NIE Networks would be considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data from Microsoft 365 tools and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate, propose and drive implementation of recommendations to improve service delivery and security.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions, including data classification and DLP.
  • Discover, classify and protect sensitive data within Microsoft 365 environments using Purview.
  • Deliver relevant projects in regulated industries.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years relevant solution architecture experience.
  • Project experience in architecting and leading technical migrations of legacy EUC environments to modern Windows 11/M365 solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 portals and tools, including Adoption Score and Secure Score to drive service utilization, adoption, and security.
  • Working closely with 3rd parties and internal project teams to ensure common technical understanding across planning, delivery and acceptance into operation service.
  • Migrating from on‑premises Group Policy (GPO) management to Intune management, including transitioning legacy GPOs to Intune policies.
  • Strong understanding of best practices for aligning Intune policies with CIS standards to ensure secure and compliant configurations.
  • Implementing Microsoft Defender for Identity, XDR, and other M365 security tools, ensuring correct configuration and optimization.
  • Provide advice on these tools to enhance an organization’s security posture.
