Job Description

The role will be part of a growing team focused on UK Central Government opportunities. The team includes salespeople who generate new opportunities and lead responses to large government procurement programmes. Join us as we prepare for expansion and make a difference in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Management: spend time with customers onsite with Version 1 teams; travel regularly; maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to retain and grow revenue.
  • Contract Management: work with delivery practices to achieve commercial targets and ensure successful execution of contracts.
  • Opportunity Management: lead new business development focusing on existing accounts and net new logos; lead sales opportunities with Commercial team or strategic technology partnerships.
  • Job Objectives: develop business with existing and new logo accounts; build relationships; lead quarterly business review meetings; identify opportunities; lead bids; manage account plans; manage sales pipeline; develop sales strategies; collaborate to develop proposals; prepare and present proposals; conduct market research; work with technical teams to ensure solutions meet needs; negotiate contracts and pricing.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a business development environment in UK Public Sector, focusing on Central Government.
  • Knowledge of Public Sector tender processes and Government Frameworks for Central Government.
  • Experience in IT Services and technology solutions environments.
  • Influencing skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver on time and with high quality.
  • Proven experience in building strong customer relationships.
