Lead Enterprise‑Scale Oracle EBS Testing with Version 1. Version 1 is one of the UK & Ireland’s leading Oracle consultancies, trusted to deliver and assure complex Oracle E‑Business Suite programmes for enterprise and public sector organisations.
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E‑Business Suite Test Manager with deep expertise in Financials and Supply Chain modules to lead testing across a high‑profile EBS engagement. This role is critical to ensuring quality, control, and confidence across business‑critical systems. If you have a proven background managing testing for large‑scale Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades, this contract offers immediate impact and ownership.
As Oracle E-Business Suite Test Manager, you will take full accountability for the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle across EBS Financials and Supply Chain modules, including integrations with upstream and downstream systems. You will act as the testing authority for the programme, leading strategy, execution, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end test management for Oracle E‑Business Suite programmes
- Define and deliver test strategy, test plans, schedules, and governance
- Oversee test design, scripting, execution, reporting, and defect management
- Manage testing across EBS Financials and Supply Chain modules
- Coordinate testing across integrated systems and third‑party applications
- Lead SIT and UAT planning, coordination, and execution
- Run defect triage sessions and manage risk, mitigation, and escalation
- Review and assure quality of all test artefacts (scripts, logs, reports, defects)
- Coach test teams on EBS testing best practices
- Manage hybrid teams including Version 1 testers, client SMEs, and third parties
- Ensure compliance with Version 1 delivery standards and methodologies
- Work independently in a remote setup, with occasional client travel if required
Qualifications
- Test management and defect management within Oracle E‑Business Suite environments
- Deep functional knowledge of EBS Financials and Supply Chain modules
- Testing experience across EBS implementations, upgrades, or major patching programmes
- At least one full EBS upgrade or implementation testing lifecycle
- Coordinating testing across complex system integrations
- Risk‑based testing in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
