Overview

As Lead Oracle Fusion Integration & Extension, you will drive the end-to-end design and delivery of Oracle Integration Cloud integrations across Fusion Cloud and enterprise systems. You will lead technical delivery, establish reusable patterns, govern integration quality, and remain hands-on through build, tests, deployment and defect resolution. You will also engage in Fusion extensions and workflow tooling, mentoring others and shaping integration strategy for large-scale Oracle Cloud programmes. This role combines hands-on delivery with client-facing leadership to enable secure, scalable integrations that support business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end OIC integration design, build and delivery between Oracle Fusion Cloud and enterprise systems
  • Define reusable integration patterns for synchronous APIs, asynchronous orchestration, scheduled processing, event-based flows and file-based interfaces
  • Produce and maintain design artefacts: interface catalogues, mappings, transformation rules, error-handling and deployment notes
  • Develop and optimise OIC integrations using app-driven orchestrations, REST/SOAP, scheduled/ bulk processing, and file-based interfaces
  • Implement robust error handling, retry, replay, and operational support patterns
  • Support performance tuning for high-volume integrations and deployment readiness across environments
  • Ensure secure integration patterns (OAuth2, certificates, secure FTP, encryption, connectivity agents)
  • Lead integration workstreams and coordinate with functional, data, reporting, security and external system owners
  • Work with Fusion functional/data teams to confirm source/target objects, business rules and reconciliation requirements
  • Provide guidance on VBCS/OPA/PCS where needed and support extension/workflow automation initiatives

Key requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud in complex enterprise environments
  • Experience designing, building, testing and supporting OIC integrations across Fusion Cloud and external platforms
  • Knowledge of Fusion ERP/HCM/EPM integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, BICC, BI Publisher, ESS)
  • Proficiency in REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, schemas, payload mapping and interface validation
  • Experience with secure integration design (OAuth2, encryption, secure file transfer, connectivity agents)
  • Experience implementing error-handling frameworks (logging, retry, replay, reconciliation)
  • Experience in high-volume or critical integration processing with performance tuning
  • Ability to produce technical design docs, mapping specs, test evidence and deployment instructions
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with systems like ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Azure services or other SaaS
  • Client-facing technical lead experience in delivery programmes; UK public sector exposure desirable
  • Desirable knowledge of VBCS/OPA/PCS and willingness to learn
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification or equivalent delivery experience (desirable)
