Version 1 is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud Financials & Tax Consultant to join our growing Managed Services team within the ERP Practice. This is a key role for a functional expert who brings deep Oracle Fusion Financials knowledge combined with strong, hands‑on Oracle Fusion Tax expertise. You’ll be instrumental in supporting, optimising, and enhancing client environments—particularly driving best practice, compliance, and performance within the Tax module.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials across multiple client environments
- Act as a functional lead for Oracle Fusion Tax, owning configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support
- Ensure Tax processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned to business and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues across Financials and Tax, delivering high‑quality fixes and enhancements
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system usage, with a strong focus on Tax capability and automation
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for changes and enhancements
- Translate requirements into robust functional solutions, working closely with technical teams
- Manage and prioritise change requests through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, particularly in relation to Tax configuration, impacts, and best practice
- Liaise with Oracle on Service Requests (SRs) and stay current with quarterly release updates, especially Tax‑related changes
Essential Qualifications
- An extensive background in an Application Support Analyst or similar functional support role
- Strong hands‑on experience across Oracle Cloud Financials (SaaS) including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting
- Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax, including configuration, setup, and ongoing support in complex environments
- Strong understanding of Tax processes, compliance, and reporting within Oracle Cloud
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective functional solutions
- Experience working within ITIL‑based service environments
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience delivering or supporting Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and/or upgrades, with Tax involvement
- Reporting expertise using OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smart View
- Exposure to Oracle SCM modules
- Oracle certifications in Financials and/or Tax
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
