Role Purpose

At Version 1, we seek a dynamic, results‑driven Account Director who will lead strategic initiatives and drive business growth. The role offers an exciting opportunity to manage strategic and enterprise accounts, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic business growth and profitability through effective account and sales strategies.
  • Manage strategic & enterprise accounts to achieve revenue targets in line with Version 1’s growth plans.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels, ensuring ongoing revenue run‑rate protection.
  • Identify new business growth opportunities and expand the portfolio within assigned sectors.
  • Lead, coach, and develop multi‑disciplinary sales/delivery/technical teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure financial performance metrics (Revenue, TCV, IYR, Profit) and customer advocacy metrics (NPS, CSAT) meet company objectives.
  • Manage contracts and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract requirements to maximize return.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Portfolio Directors, Delivery Principals, and Advisory Services.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep sales strategies effective.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and account performance to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and setting successful sales strategies within the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining revenue in existing accounts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Business and commercial awareness, with the ability to generate useful reporting metrics.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, private healthcare, or life sciences sectors is a plus.
  • Awareness of industry trends and ability to leverage a network to drive new business.
