You are expected to mentor junior developers, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be:

  • Developing REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and on-premises/cloud applications
  • Implementing B2B flows (if applicable), error handling, retry mechanisms, and OIC monitoring/logging best practices
  • Utilising Oracle Visual Builder for custom UIs and Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for workflow orchestration (where needed)
  • Working with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, BICC, FBDI, HDL, and PVOs for integration scenarios
  • Designing and configuring security components such as OCI Vault, Secrets, Certificates, and OAuth2 flows
  • Collaborating with clients on data mapping, transformation logic, and interface contracts
  • Driving performance tuning and optimisation for long-running integrations and large payload handling
  • Conducting code reviews, enforce standards, and guide junior developers and offshore teams
  • Troubleshooting production issues and provide HyperCare/post-go-live support
  • Preparing design documents, integration specifications, and deployment artefacts
  • Supporting DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for OIC code promotion (optional but desirable)
  • You will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SaaS APIs (ERP/HCM/SCM), including REST/SOAP endpoints, security tokens, and web service catalogues
  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and BICC data extract integration
  • Hands-on expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, and SQL
  • Familiarity with Oracle SaaS data models and common business processes (e.g., AP/AR/PO/GL, HR/Payroll)
  • Experience with OIC connectivity to external platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday)
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, Basic, API Key) and OCI Vault management
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging OIC flows using diagnostic logs, audit trails, and activity streams
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to lead technical discussions
  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder and Oracle Process Automation (OPA)
  • Familiarity with OCI Services: Object Storage, API Gateway, Functions, Autonomous DB (ATP/ADW), Stream Pools
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud DevOps pipelines or Jenkins/GitHub CI-CD for OIC promotion
  • Integration with on-prem Oracle EBS (R12), custom databases, or legacy file servers via Agents or SFTP
  • Knowledge of Version 1’s Maximise/CloudBridge or similar migration/integration accelerators

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Oracle certifications in OIC or Oracle Cloud Platform (preferred but not mandatory)
