The role places primary emphasis on data migration, complemented by responsibilities across integration and reporting domains. You will design, build, and validate technical components covering data extraction, transformation, load (ETL), reconciliation, and cut over ensuring data integrity, auditability, and compliance throughout. This role also extends to supporting OIC-based integrations, BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI reporting, and collaboration with Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) teams to enable data-driven insights. This is a hands‑on position suited to an experienced Oracle Cloud technical professional, capable of leading technical workstreams, working collaboratively across architecture and functional teams, and mentoring junior resources within a structured delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Migration
    • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of data migration solutions from legacy systems (e.g. Oracle E-Business Suite R12) into Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.
    • Define data mapping, transformation, and validation logic using agreed templates (e.g. CV040, Data Migration Catalogue).
    • Build and automate ETL processes using Version1’s propriety DM tool CloudBridge, OIC, SQL/PLSQL, FBDI, and HDL.
    • Develop reusable utilities and automation scripts to optimise iterative migration cycles.
    • Collaborate with business SMEs for data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.
    • Produce reconciliation and variance reports to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
    • Manage cut-over execution, including sequencing, validations, and post-load verification.
    • Enforce data-security, masking, and retention controls in line with programme policies.
  • Integration
    • Design and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) between Fusion SaaS, EPM and third‑party systems.
    • Develop interfaces using BICC, FBDI, HDL, and Oracle SaaS APIs (REST/SOAP).
    • Configure secure connectivity (SFTP, certificates, OCI Vault), error handling, and retry mechanisms.
    • Collaborate with architects and functional leads to align design with business processes and reporting requirements.
  • Reporting
    • Develop and validate data extracts, reports, and dashboards using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI for reconciliation and data quality assurance.
    • Collaborate with analytics teams leveraging Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) to ensure traceable data lineage and analytics readiness.
    • Build validation and control reports to support migration and test cycles.
  • Governance & Quality
    • Adhere to agreed technical standards, governance, and audit frameworks across all delivery artefacts.
    • Conduct peer reviews and manage version control through Git / VBS repositories.
    • Support SIT, UAT, and Dress Rehearsal phases including validation, defect resolution, and documentation.
    • Contribute to post-go-live assurance and knowledge-transfer activities.
    • Mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement of migration and integration practices.
