As a valued member of our team, you will help enrich our shared component libraries by crafting modular and reusable components. You will provide mentorship to junior members and actively share your expertise across the wider team.
Responsibilities:
- Experience leading teams and managing key stakeholders across the engineering team, including Architects, Product Owners, and UX designers.
- Develop interfaces for web and mobile applications and develop high-quality, efficient, reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with other team members to formulate and articulate end-to-end architecture and (non-) functional design.
- Take ownership of the Frontend digital and software platform.
- Ensure the use of Version 1’s Agile process and framework.
- Instil and champion best practices within the team, including TDD, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Design flexible and configurable software components.
- Produce well-designed, testable, maintainable, secure, and efficient code.
- Experience with mobile development frameworks like React Native is beneficial.
- Experience in Unit Testing with Jest.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, guiding them in architecture, code quality, and best practices.
- Experience with GraphQL with React for efficient data fetching and state management is preferred.
- Continuous Integration experience (Docker).
- Experience in developing and deploying solutions on AWS Cloud is beneficial.
- A passion for coding and keeping up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and techniques.
- Extensive experience in an Agile environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and onsite and near-shore development teams.
