Job Description
Version 1 is seeking a motivated Delivery Consultant to join our team of experienced Delivery Managers and Delivery Principals. As a Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Delivery Managers in delivering effective and high-quality projects for our clients, with a focus on Cloud Migration with AWS/Azure and Digital Transformation with SDLC, TDD and Agile.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Delivery Manager and project team to drive projects forward on time, to budget, and best quality
- Support the Delivery Manager in establishing and building relationships with new customers
- Assist in stakeholder engagement and management
- Help maintain the pace of the team and remove blockers to ensure a clear path to delivery
- Attend and contribute to weekly overview and delivery assurance meetings
- Assist in project scope definition, detailed project work-plan, RAID analysis, governance, documentation, and risk management
- Contribute to the delivery of Software Development or Cloud Migration projects
- Assist in ensuring that projects are delivered using Agile methodology and adhere to the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Keep up-to-date with Cloud technologies and share knowledge with the team
- Participate in the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- A consulting mindset
- Technical project management experience and the ability to manage projects no matter what the technology involved
- Experience in delivering Software Development or Cloud Migration projects
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Recent Public Sector experience (nice to have)
- Agile experience and experience of working in Agile projects
- Familiarity with the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
