About the Role

Seeking an experienced Oracle NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) Consultant to lead an implementation effort. This role is focused on NSPB Implementation from scratch, you will be leading the planning and budgeting module from scratch

The ideal consultant has direct experience configuring NSPB or Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) and a deep understanding of integration with core ERP financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Budgeting (NSPB/EPM)

• Configure and maintain NetSuite Planning & Budgeting models (Financials, Workforce, or custom modules).
• Develop annual budgeting, monthly/rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling capabilities.
• Build and manage dimensions, metadata, forms, smart lists, task lists, and approval workflows.
• Create driver-based models and variance analysis templates.

Data Integration & Automation

• Design and manage integrations between the ERP system and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting using standard tools (Data Integration, Data Management, SuiteAnalytics Connect, flat-file imports, or REST APIs).
• Automate data loads for actuals, budgets, and forecasts (via EPM Automate or scheduled jobs).
• Configure data mappings and validate the alignment of GL, department, subsidiary/entity, and account structures.
• Troubleshoot data load errors, metadata misalignment, and calculation issues.

Reporting & Finance Support

• Develop Smart View templates and management reports for finance leadership.
• Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams during critical budget submissions and forecast cycles.
• Provide end-user training, technical documentation, and post-deployment system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) or Oracle EPM Cloud Planning (PBCS/EPBCS).
• Strong functional understanding of budgeting, forecasting, FP&A processes, and financial modeling principles.
• Proven experience integrating NetSuite ERP financial data (GL, departments, entities, accounts) into an EPM solution.
• Proficiency in Smart View, Data Management/Data Integration modules, and advanced Excel.
