Responsibilities

  • Build a beautifully crafted, high-performance writing space you can be proud of - and use.
  • Solve a range of problems across syncing, local-first, high reliability, live collaboration amongst humans and AI, and agent orchestration.
  • Contribute to agentic workflows built with Lang Graph and modern reasoning models.
  • Define and ship features end-to-end, from idea to production.
  • Speak to customers and use our analytics to help make product decisions.
  • Design and implement AI-native editor interactions (inline suggestions, version tracking, structured “Skills”).
  • Join an early team - influencing product, engineering culture and company direction.
  • Have time for writing yourself.

Qualifications

  • Strong Java Script fundamentals.
  • Strong product instincts and design sensibilities.
  • Care deeply about interaction quality and craft – a fan of tools like Linear, Notion and Superhuman.
  • Interested in generative AI and how to integrate it responsibly.
  • Exceptional Candidates
  • Experience with writing: blogs, essays.
  • Experience with text editing interfaces such as Prose Mirror and Tiptap.
  • Experience with local-first.
  • Experience with LLMs and agentic systems or orchestration frameworks in production.
