Responsibilities
- Build a beautifully crafted, high-performance writing space you can be proud of - and use.
- Solve a range of problems across syncing, local-first, high reliability, live collaboration amongst humans and AI, and agent orchestration.
- Contribute to agentic workflows built with Lang Graph and modern reasoning models.
- Define and ship features end-to-end, from idea to production.
- Speak to customers and use our analytics to help make product decisions.
- Design and implement AI-native editor interactions (inline suggestions, version tracking, structured “Skills”).
- Join an early team - influencing product, engineering culture and company direction.
- Have time for writing yourself.
Qualifications
- Strong Java Script fundamentals.
- Strong product instincts and design sensibilities.
- Care deeply about interaction quality and craft – a fan of tools like Linear, Notion and Superhuman.
- Interested in generative AI and how to integrate it responsibly.

- Experience with writing: blogs, essays.
- Experience with text editing interfaces such as Prose Mirror and Tiptap.
- Experience with local-first.
