We are looking for a dedicated Junior Service Manager to support the Deputy General Manager/Service Manager in the day-to‑time operationalmanagement of the Paediatric services., This role is responsible for ensuring outpatient clinic lists are fully utilised to maximise capacity and support timely patient care. The post holder will provide line management support to administrative staff within the Paediatric Department, including conducting appraisals, facilitating team meetings, managing performance, and supporting staff development.
The role will also support the validation of Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways, ensuring patient records are accurate and that patients are booked in line with clinical priority and waiting time requirements. In addition, the post holder will monitor and track patients approaching or exceeding 52 weeks on their pathway, working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure appropriate plans are implemented to support timely treatment and reduce long waits.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to maintain effective patient flow and service performance.
