If you're a motivated Consultant seeking a fulfilling role within a progressive Trust committed to excellence in patient care -- we'd love to hear from you., You will play an active role in delivering and developing a broad range of sub-specialty outpatient diabetes clinics, including:
- Diabetic foot
- Insulin Pump / Hybrid Closed-Loop Clinics
- Antenatal Diabetes Clinics
- Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot-care Clinics
- Complex Diabetes Clinics
- General Endocrine Clinics
You will also be involved in rotational ward cover and will help manage inpatient care on our 27-bed Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine ward, as well as supporting diabetes outliers and our inpatient diabetes team. Additional responsibilities include:
- Weekly schedule of approximately 5 outpatient clinics
- Involvement in antenatal and foot-care ward rounds
- Providing electronic triage, Advice & Guidance, and support across specialties
- Active participation in our established multidisciplinary meetings and collaborative working across departments
