We’re working with a highly regarded, national law firm to recruit an experienced Paralegal into their Real Estate & Projects team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established property team acting for registered providers, management companies, developers, landowners, investors and charities on a broad range of development and transactional matters.
If you have solid conveyancing experience and want to step into more complex development-led work, this could be the move.
The Role
- Support Partners and Solicitors while building your own caseload.
- The work is varied and development-focused, including:
- Assisting on development transactions and land agreements
- Drafting transaction summaries and reports (including transfers and sectional agreements)
- Reviewing due diligence searches and contributing to reports on title
- Supporting development site acquisitions
- Managing pre and post-completion formalities
- Undertaking Land Registry applications and handling requisitions
- Drafting ancillary documents including Deeds of Covenant and Transfers
- Liaising directly with clients and third parties
The team has a genuinely collaborative structure and encourages involvement in business development and continued professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience dealing with the conveyancing process
- Commercial or residential property background
- Strong drafting and reporting skills
- Confident with Land Registry applications and post-completion matters
- Able to manage workload with limited supervision
- Organised, methodical and detail-focused
- Comfortable working to deadlines
A law degree (minimum 2:2 or equivalent conversion) is expected. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond high-volume transactional conveyancing and gain exposure to development-led, project-based real estate work within a supportive and well-structured team.
