We are currently partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Paralegal into their Real Estate & Projects team in London, specialising in Infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established property team working on complex development projects across the UK, with genuine responsibility and progression.
The Role
You will support a Senior Associate specialising in infrastructure, while managing your own caseload. The focus will be on infrastructure agreements and utility-related matters connected to new developments. Key areas of work include:
- Highways agreements (s38 and s278)
- Water adoption and closure agreements (s104 and s116)
- Build Over Agreements
- Deeds of Grant and Easements
- Wayleave agreements
- Substation and gas governor transfers (TR1 and TP1)
- Land Registry applications and post-completion formalities
- Drafting and reporting on key transactional documents
- Managing multiple deadlines across a busy caseload
You will also provide wider support to the real estate team and contribute to its continued growth.
About You
- Minimum 1-2 years’ continuous experience in a similar paralegal role
- Strong drafting ability and high attention to detail
- Experience dealing with infrastructure agreements, utility easements, wayleaves and substation transfers is advantageous
- Able to manage your own caseload with limited supervision
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Commercially aware and confident liaising directly with clients
