We are working in partnership with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Paralegal into their Property Securitisation team in Leeds. This team works on large-scale property transactions for registered providers, charities and developers, supporting significant development and funding programmes.
The Role
You will assist with property due diligence, title investigations and post-completion matters, supporting a busy securitisation and rectification function. Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking initial title due diligence
- Obtaining and reviewing Official Copies and Land Registry documentation
- Reviewing title registers and plans to assess ownership and interests
- Drafting and negotiating Deeds of Variation (training provided)
- Submitting and managing Land Registry applications
- Handling planning variations and rectifications
- Liaising with third parties and managing responses
- Managing your own caseload and meeting deadlines
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
About You
- Background in conveyancing or property law
- Experience using the Land Registry portal
- Strong drafting skills
- Confident conducting legal research
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Able to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
- LPC or GDL is advantageous but not essential.
