The team
You will join a small, close-knit HR team that is approachable, hardworking and well respected across the firm. It is a positive, supportive and collaborative environment where your contribution will be noticed. This is also an exciting moment to join: the HR team has, until now, been wholly based in London, and this role marks the start of building the team's footprint in Leeds. You will have regular in-person support and visits from the wider team as you settle in.
The role
Working closely with the Recruitment Advisor, you will be a key member of the HR team, helping deliver recruitment across the firm for all roles and locations. Your work will include:
- Monitoring recruitment inboxes, screening and shortlisting candidates
- Advertising vacancies, updating the careers page and LinkedIn, and posting on job boards
- Arranging assessments and interviews, booking rooms and managing logistics
- Supporting Trainee Solicitor and Vacation Scheme recruitment, including Careers Fairs and assessment centres
- Taking ownership of new joiner onboarding, including references, DBS and Right to Work checks
- Liaising with agencies, tracking invoices and keeping recruitment records compliant with GDPR
What you will bring
- A 2:1 degree or above, or equivalent
- Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and an approachable, engaging manner in person and on the phone
- A self-motivated, can-do attitude and the confidence to work independently
- Prior experience in a recruitment or resourcing role hiring legal or professional services candidates is advantageous but not required

- Salary: £26,228
- Location: Leeds
- Contract: Permanent
- Reporting to: Recruitment Advisor
- Working pattern: 5 days in the office during the 3-month probation period, hours 9am to 5:30pm
- Travel: some travel to the London office, plus attendance at regional Careers Fairs in Birmingham and Leeds
- Interview process: one stage, in person at the Leeds office, with the Head of HR joining
