This is a brand new role, created to drive Business Development across their Birmingham office, with the full backing of an established BD and Marketing team in London. You will not be slotting into someone else's shoes. You will be helping to shape how BD works in Birmingham from day one.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting BD activity across the Birmingham office, from conferences and events to pitches, bids and client development
- Researching target sectors, companies and industry bodies to fuel BD campaigns
- Tracking new business leads and following up on BD pipelines with partners and fee earners
- Working alongside the Marketing team to deliver events and thought leadership across the Midlands
- Being the welcoming face of the Birmingham office and keeping it running smoothly
What you will bring:
- Ideally some early experience in a BD or Marketing role, preferably within professional services
- Sharp attention to detail and genuinely high standards in everything you produce
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Confidence with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
