Vice President, International Distribution identify key opportunities to generate additional revenue and prioritize resources and efforts. Be creative and future focused, scanning the competitive environment to ensure CNBC is well placed to capitalize on future innovations. Maintain a strong network of contacts within the industry to identify new opportunities for additional revenue across the full range of new business and Distribution offerings; keep abreast with up‑to‑date industry thinking and best practice.
Oversee the negotiation, documentation, and contractual requirements relating to all new business and distribution deals. Oversee the acquisition of new clients and drive “after sales” service to clients. Manage third‑party distributors and develop strategies to expand distribution in their respective territories. Provide overall leadership, management and clear direction for the Distribution and Business Development teams. Provide strong leadership to achieve team objectives, defining the strategy for each team with their Direct Reports and key stakeholders. Role model and drive a customer focused mind‑set within the Distribution and Business Development teams and wider business. Drive collaboration, best practice and sharing information across the teams; identify opportunities to drive efficiencies in process / systems.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in affiliate sales, content distribution, and carriage negotiations across linear, streaming, and digital platforms.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate complex deal structures, distribution economics, and revenue growth opportunities in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
- Comprehensive understanding of the evolving media landscape, including B2B partnerships, content Syndication, Pay TV, MVPD’s, FAST Channels, AVOD, SVOD, and DTC business models and familiarity with the technical solutions in each case (i.e. satellite delivery, FAST ad tech, and DTC integration and billing options).
- Demonstrated understanding of OOH distribution, including hospitality, travel, and commercial‑location partnerships, and the ability to identify and monetize new audience reach opportunities.

- Proven ability to build, influence, and maintain senior‑level relationships with distribution partners and key industry stakeholders; including traveling to them, when necessary.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to interpret subscriber, audience, and revenue data to inform decision‑making.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Operations, Product, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic growth recommendations to senior CNBC and Versant executives and external partners.
