Job Description

You will play a critical role within our fast‐paced cross‐platform advertising sales organization, with a focus on driving digital, Linear TV and Events sponsorship revenues from clients in the Middle East. The Commercial Director will be responsible for building and leading commercial success for CNBC, in the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive digital, Linear TV, Event sponsorship and C‐Suite Membership sales to clients based in the Middle East.
  • Partner with SVP, International Sales to develop outstanding trading relationships with key senior stakeholders in the Middle East.
  • Understand customer KPIs and look for opportunities to develop monetizable solutions, including customizable cross‐platform opportunities that meet client needs, and operationalize product offerings to reflect those KPIs.
  • Keep abreast of the continually evolving digital and social media marketplace, customers, and competition in order to conceive and effectively execute a sales strategy that generates and informs product offerings and drives improved operations and financial results.
  • Work cross‐functionally, activating key business units within Versant Media to ensure pipeline creation, revenue goal achievement and end customer success.
  • Develop winning brand and media strategies for growth.
  • Develop creative solutions for top corporates and government clients based on a deep understanding of their strategy and needs.
  • Act as a company values and brand ambassador within the business.
